JC Event Photography is photography by Jena Cumbo
Jena Cumbo is a NY based photographer and video maker who lives in Rockaway Beach with her furniture building husband, John and their cats. Cumbo photographs events and also shoots commercial fashion photography out of studio 206 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
She holds a BFA in painting and photography from Hartford Art School and an MFA in photography from SUNY Buffalo. Cumbo grew up in Rochester NY, with Kodak close by. She is fairly certain they put chemicals in the water that put photography directly into her blood stream. Cumbo has a calm demeanor and is wonderful at getting people to pose for the camera and also can be a fly on the wall to catch all the candid moments that will be become treasured memories.
